About Hape Down On The Farm Discovery Box: My name is Robin Leonard and I’m with Hape International and I’d like to show you the Down On The Farm Discovery Box by Educo. This particular item is for children ages two years and up. It’s a combination of a bead and wire maze on top of an activity box. The entire box is made of Russian birch plywood and it has graphics that are silk printed on the five different panels. The beads on the bead and wire maze are actually painted with water based paints. The top of the theme, and of course the theme for this entire discovery box, is farm. You can see the façade of the barn with the tracking tractor that can move across the top and frame. Also on the sides there are tracking balls that can be moved by the child and then they can kind of sit in there and then move down to the bottom. A third side has different numbers and matching figures and shapes. The fourth side has people traveling in their car and then the bead and wire maze so you can make the wheels go round on the car. And the fifth side has a little farmer doggy that are coming out because he’s going to be going out in the rain or he’s going to be coming out and spending time in the sunshine.
