Gotama - About

Gotama – About: The Gotama is by far the best selling Volkl ski within the backcountry jibbing collection. It’s also a ski that we’ve been selling for a number of years and it’s gained in popularity throughout that lifecycle. It has a 105mm waist under foot, so that gives you tremendous float in the powder but it’s also narrow enough to use all over the mountain. Being a backcountry jibbing ski the Gotama has a twin tip, makes it real easy to ride switch, and the side cut is designed to be very versatile as a backcountry jibbing ski.

Gotama - Extra Features

Gotama - Extra Features: The Gotama features a full sensor wood core with a vertical side wall so it’s a very, very high end construction. Extremely durable and extremely resilient for skiing all over the mountain. The other thing you’ll notice about the Gotama is an interesting graphic. You basically have the same scene on the top sheet and on the base. The top sheet’s a nighttime scene and the base is a daytime scene. Anyone from advanced to an expert skier that likes to ski in deep snow, but also wants a ski they can use all over the mountain and maybe even a little bit of the pipe and park will love the Gotama.

Gotama - Redesign

Gotama – Redesign: The Gotama was Volkl’s original backcountry twin tip and we’ve kept it in the line for a number of years, really owing to tremendous popularity. This is the number one selling backcountry twin tip that Volkl makes by far.
