Gibson Les Paul Axis: Greetings. I'm Al John Gill with Gibson guitars, and we're going to talk about the Les Paul Axis from the Gibson custom shop, made in Nashville Tennessee. Proudly made in USA. This guitar right here, has got a figured maple top. You can see all the great figure in this wood. It's a lot lighter than a traditional Les Paul, and thinner too. It has very nice heel joint. Very nice contoured which is something you can't get on your ordinary Les Paul. Also it has a belly scarf here so that it hugs against your body very closely. It's very comfortable to play. It also has what we call a Floyd Rose tremolo system. So people who want to play and have those really great bends and di-bombs, we are here for you. The electronics are also excellent because we have a push pull pot here where you can split the coils, having humbucking pickups. It's the brand new Les Paul Axis from the Custom Gibson shop.
