This reissue, celebrates the 50th year anniversary of this great, great instrument. Probably made in our custom shop in Nashville, Tennessee. It has a highly figured, maple top, classic cherry burst finish. This right here classically replicates the guitar from that era – 1959 – a golden era for Gibson guitars. With some high-quality mahogany wood, custom shop neck tenon, classic neck tenon that extends into the pickup cavity. Everything about this guitar is historically accurate, so it's like taking a trip back in time and picking one of these up brand-new, hanging in a store. Mother-of-pearl inlays, careful attention to detail. That is, the brand-new, 50th anniversary addition Les Paul Standard from the Gibson custom shop.
