About Garmont Kenai Boot: Hi, my name is Paul Parker. I'm the Product Manager with Garmont Italy. I'd like to show you our new Kenai Telemark boot. Kenai is our top-of-the-line, what I call a, 50/50 Telemark boot for, let's say, 50 percent resort skiing, and 50 percent back country. It's very light. I incorporates our new Power Wrap overlap, which is the key to this system. This gives superior downhill performance, while it tours better than any other traditional tongue system. It has an Ergo bellows. The bellows is placed farther back on the boot. It's wider, and along its crest it has our Power Rib that gives it abrasion resistance, protection against ski edges, and it also helps the bellows flex more symmetrically. The sole is bi-injected. 75 millimeter norm. It has pins, for those who use three-pin bindings. And we have a very simple, clean lock mechanism. One position, very easy to use, very robust. All the parts on this boot are replaceable, so there are no mysteries. If you hit a rock and break a buckle, you can easily replace it yourself.
