About GV Snowshoes Snowshoe Bag: This is our Snowshoe carry bag. We have our models of bags for all shapes and sizes of our actual collection. This part here is vented to allow the melting snow from coming out of the bag. It can be used as a regular bag or also can be used as a backpack. About GV Snowshoes 3 Section Pole: This here is our 3 section telescopic pole. The main advantage of this pole is it has an anti-shock system, so that your shoulders will never get hit when you go down hills. This pole comes with a carbide tip for when you're going on ice or very compact snow. Or it comes also with a rubber tip for softer snow. This model of pole will come with also two different sizes of snowbaskets. About GV Snowshoes Active Aerolite: This model of snowshoe is called the Active Aerolite, it is a shoe that was specifically designed for women. The frame of this shoe will be narrower so it makes it easier for women to walk on. It is a 707 5-guage aluminum framing. We also have the Engage decking, it's a plastic that will take it's original shape real fast after use. We have added some grooves on to the back part of the decking to add some traction. We also have our aluminum cleats that are Teflon painted to prevent snow from sticking to the snowshoe. Incorporated in that back cleat, there is a hiking lifter. The hiking lifter will help you have a straighter walk when you go up hills. It will keep your foot straighter, puts more pressure on the back cleat to keep traction going. It has a rigid, pivot system, a ratchet for bindings with front toe-plate that will prevent this shoe from sliding too far up front while walking down hills. We also have some rubber foam in the inner part of the harness to keep comfort. About GV Snowshoes Polar Trail: This model here is a Polar Trail. Polar Trail where that shoe was designed for extreme snowshoers. There's foam in the frame to make it easier to walk. You can go on a lot of different terrains and stay always very comfortable. It's the 707 5-gauge aluminum framing, we have an in-gauge decking that is grooved under it to provide more traction. We have our aluminum cleating system with the Teflon paint under it to prevent snow from sticking. Included in that cleat, we have the hiking lifter – will be used when you go up hills to keep the foot straighter, to put more pressure on the cleat to prevent the loss of traction. We have a ratchet binding system, with a front-toe piece that will prevent this shoe from sliding forward while going down hills. We also have a rubber foam inside the harness to make sure that it stays always very comfortable. About GV Snowshoes Wide Trail: This here is a model called the Wide Trail. This is GV Snowshoe's workhorse. It is designed for bushworkers. It is a snowshoe that will be a bit longer and a bit wider. It will help you carry more weight with you and since it's wider, more stability. On this particular snowshoe, we have 6000 gauge aluminum frame, we have also the allafine decking, aluminum clamp-on system also with Teflon paint on it. This model here comes with a rigid, pivot system, so it's literally a rod that goes through the shoe. This here is a backup system. This part will tie to your ankle and this part is tied to the shoe. So when you want to back up – if you don't have that system, your shoe drops down when you lift your foot. If you tie that to your ankle, when you try to back up, the shoe will follow the movement. For bushworkers it makes it much more safe. We have a ratchet binding system, a front toe-stopper to prevent the foot from slipping when we go downhills and we also have a rubber foam padding inside to provide more comfort.
