About GV Snowshoes Snow Trail: This model here is the Snow Trail. This is our classic snowshoe model from GV. It's the first aluminum snowshoe we have actually ever produced. Okay, this shoe is built out of 6000 gauge aluminum frame. We also have all the fine deckings. Aggressive cleating system with Teflon paint on them, to prevent snow from sticking under it. And as you can see, we also have a hiking lifter on this model. Once again, the hiking lifter is designed to help your foot get straighter when you go hiking. It put more pressure on the back cleat to keep traction. We have on this model ratchet binding system, with the front toe-stopper to prevent the foot from slipping while going down hills. Plus we have rubber foam that was built inside the harnessing system to provide more comfort.
