About GV Snowshoes Snow Aerolite: This model here is called the Snow Aerolite. It is 7075 gauge aluminum. We have what we call here an Entech decking. It is a plastic that will take its original shape really fast after use. We have also added some grooving on that decking to provides supplementary traction. We have our aluminum aggressive cleats front and back. Teflon paint to prevent snow from slicking to the cleating. We also have on this shoe a hiking lifter, just set to pop out. It's incorporated in the cleat. It will help you climb. When you climb, your foot stays straighter and puts more pressure on the cleating system, to make sure you don't lose traction. We also have on this shoe a ratcheting binding system. Front two-piece that will prevent the foot from slipping too far in front, to prevent the boot from hitting the front part of the shoe, and to prevent friction points from the front strap. We also added, for comfort, some rubber foam in the inside of the decking.
