About GV Snowshoes Polar Trail: This model here is the Polar Trail, the Polar Trail where that shoe is designed for extreme snowshoers. There’s an aerodynamic form in the frame to make it easier to walk. You can go on a lot of different terrains and stay always very comfortable. It’s a 707 five-gauge aluminum framing. We have an in-gauge decking that is grooved under it to provide more traction. We have our aluminum cleating system with the Teflon paint under it to prevent snow from sticking. Included in that cleat we have the hiking lifter. It will be used when you go up hills to keep the foot straighter and put more pressure on the cleat to prevent the loss of traction. We have a ratchet binding system with a front toe piece that will prevent the shoe from sliding forward while going down hills. We also have a rubber foam inside the harness to make sure that it stays always very comfortable.
