About GV Snowshoes Nyflex Evolution: This model of shoe is called the Nyflex Evolution. It is a plastic injected, molded shoe. As you can see, it is a small shoe, it is specifically designed for hiking on hard compact surfaces. As you can see, there is a hiking lifter on the shoe that will help you have a straighter foot when you go up hills, and to put more pressure on the very aggressive cleating system. All of those cleats are painted in Teflon paint to prevent snow from sticking to them. We have a rigid pivot system that is molded into the shoe. We also have on that shoe our standard ratchet system, very user friendly, very easy to use, don’t even have to take off the mitts when you want to put them on or take them off.
