About GV Snowshoes Mountain Trail Extreme: We have here Mountain Trail Extreme. This is a 7075 gauge aluminum. It's a very light aluminum, with an Entech plastic decking. It is a plastic that has almost no memory inside, so it will take its original shape very fast after use. This show is provided with a Snow Pocket. Helps you build a pack of snow under the shoe. It will give you more traction. We have standard cleating, and receptating system with the Teflon paint under it, to prevent the addition of snow. We have a hiking lifter also, with traction during lift. We have a semi-soft pivoting system that will allow the shoe to be comfortable with any kind of boot, not particular snowshoe boot, on hard pack and soft snow. A ratcheting binding system, also, with the front two-piece that will prevent the foot from slipping while going down hills. Plus we have a rubber foam inside the harness to provide more comfort.
