About GV Snowshoes Cat Trail: This model is called the Cat Trail. It was originally designed for the purpose of snowshoe racing. Since, we had a lot of demand from people that, more and more go just in the bush, just to go and take a stroll on hard compact snow. We’ve modified a bit, that snowshoe, to make it very, very light. It’s still a 7075 gauge aluminum framing, very sturdy, we have got an N-gauge decking on it with the grooves on the rear to help with traction. But since it is to go for a stroll more than a heavy ride, we have a less aggressive crampon system under it, that makes it more comfortable to work with, and we also use the soft pivot system, so that the ride stays very, very comfortable. As all of our other snowshoes, have the Teflon based paint to prevent the snow from sticking under the shoe. We have a very standard binding system, with, like I told you, the soft pivot.
