The House Freestyle Binding – About: Hi, I’m David with House talking about the brand spanking new 2009 Burton Freestyle Binding. The binding received a bunch of upgrades this year. They finally got into the toe cap strap which all the other bindings have. We upgraded to a metal ratchet which will be much more reliable in colder conditions. The base plate padding as well as the high back padding both definitely got a couple of millimeters added to them. And it finally does have a really nice toe ramp which works really good for you guys that have got 10+ boots. You’re going to get a lot less toe grade with this. Also as you can see, they cored out the high back a lot which is going to reduce the weight. It actually is a more rigid binding than the previous model. Other than that, they did add a tool for the main adjuster. Really, really good binding for the price point. Definitely, definitely the best freestyle yet.
