Forum Shaka Binding: This year new for bindings, our big story that we’re pushing this year is the Shaka Binding with our hinge disc. The story behind this is we wanted to be able to increase board feel and board flex as well as being able to have better board contact. What we came up with is the Shaka. You have a hinge disc which allows for better flexing so this is for every four hole pattern board in the world. It allows for 30 degrees of rotation. This is how it clips in. This is our split tray where as the disc comes in, you can screw down and it allows for the binding to flex. You put our tray in with the F Channel. It slides in and clips down. It gives you a whole new ride for boards. We find it works great with reverse camera boards just due to the inherent nature of the hinge disc. So this is the big story for 2010.
