The House Forum Recon Binding - About

The House Forum Recon Binding – About: Dave McCall extension 228 here to talk about the Forum Recon Binding. This particular one is the Elephant cut away. I picked it because it matches my shirt so well today. Basically what you’re looking at is a really good price point biding. It’s going to be super durable, hardly any cut back on the warranty, just a really good all around binding allows you to spend more money on your board or your boots. It’s not going to break on you halfway down the run, really comfortable straps, smooth ratchet both on the entrance and the release. The toe cap is really nice, or toe strap can be ridden as an over the toe strap or traditionally like that. Nice neoprene stretch window will pretty much adhere to any kind of boot curvature. It’s got padding in the baseplate, plenty of padding in the HI-Back and it features a kind of cool design. There’s no heel cup to it. It relies off of the touching of the bottom of the baseplate to give you all your support. What that does is it allows it to be a little bit lighter and a little bit more forgiving, really good for freestyle riders or anywhere from beginner to intermediate level for all park usage. Other than that quick adjust on the forward lean, makes it really easy to adjust that. Also with that design, good Hi-Back rotation right at the baseplate level so it’s really easy to adjust the angle of the Hi-Back to better match the angle of the board so you have that angle like this on the board running like this. You can rotate the Hi-Back so that it runs parallel to the board edge to give you more consistent control. Puts the Hi-Back behind your rib where it’s supposed to be.
