The House Flow Flight 2 Binding - About

The House Flow Flight 2 Binding - About: Dave McCall here at The House to talk about the Flow Flight 2 bindings. It's a really nice binding if you're looking for a more convenient way to get in and out of your bindings. How it achieves this is it has a lever on the back. The hi-back will lower down, put your boot it. Once it's in, simply lift it up, then all you got to do is close the one lever. There's no more fumbling with the ratchets. It's a really nice basic model from them. They utilize what they call the Power Triangle. The input from the hi-back is wrapped down via this cable all the way to the base plate level. So it actually does have a little bit better heel side response that traditional bindings, which might have a little play up toward the top of the hi-back. Other than that, they feature a pretty unique mono-strap, that goes all the way from the instep area, to the front of the toe. Probably get a close up of those in a second here. From there, on all four corners now, they have a pretty easy to use ratchet system, where you can adjust it, initially, once you get them out of the box, and then from there, pretty much forget about them for the rest of the time. The last few years they've done a little bit of a cutout in this area. It actually makes it a little bit more comfortable, and provides a little bit more flex to the system. Definitely by making the feeling of the strap binding a little bit better. Other than that, you got a toe ramp in the front. So all you people with bigger feet can a little bit narrower board before you get the toe drag. And yea. That would be about it on the Flow Flight 2. Great binding. Great price. You should definitely get one.
