This ski has a number of unique features that allow the ski to turn really well. It has an S-Deck here, which raises the ski up a little bit, allowing for more leverage. Snow Shocks here, and here, to dampen the ski under difficult or variable snow conditions. A lot of side cut in the ski, to make it easy to turn. And on the base of the ski there's a unique pattern. This is called the Turning Crown, and as you can see, it's in an arc, so the ski doesn't hang up when it turns. So this is a great back country turning ski. The Outtabounds.
