Pivot Firebird Trail Bike: Hi, I'm Adam from Pivot Cycles, and this is the brand new, patent pending, Firebird. This bike has 6.7 inches of travel. Built for anything from aggressive trail riding to lift serve mountain riding. You can build it up with a six inch travel fork, or say a Fox 40, seven or eight inches. Offered with different shock options, like the Fox RP23, or a DHX air. And this bike can be a lot of different things, for a lot of different people. One of the things that we've done is incorporate our patent pending floating derailleur. When you have a long travel bike, the derailleur wants to move. And that's essentially what we've done. So that it shifts exactly the way it should shift, all the way through that 6.7 inches of travel. Now you can take this off if you want to build it up as a park bike, and put on a chain guide system. You could run various different crank sets. This bike can be built up at 29 pounds, with like an XTR kit, and 203 rotors. Or you can build it up big and burley with a dual-crown fork, and the sky's the limit. So this is the Pivot Firebird.
