Finish Line Types Of Brake Fluids: I am David with Finish Line, I want to talk to you about brake fluids. We make both a mineral oil brake fluid and eight DOT brake fluid. There's different kinds of DOT systems and there is one kind of mineral system. If you have hydraulic brake systems, you'll know whether you need mineral or DOT. The thing to know, is that our mineral oil is developed specifically for brake applications, it's not a generic mineral oil. A good way to think of it is it's purified, it's formulated specifically for the high temperatures that you encounter with braking. Great mineral oil brake fluid, or you might have a DOT system and some systems will call for a DOT III or a IV or a V-I oil, it's important to know that ours exceeds all DOT specs. So you can use this in a 3.0 or a 5.1 with confidence. It will exceed all manufacturers specs for any DOT system. I'm David with Finish Line and these are our brake fluids.
