inish Line Shock Oil: Hi I'm David with Finish Line, and we make a full this line of shock oils – everything from a 2 ½ weight to a 15 weight. There's a 2 ½, 5, 7 and 10 and 15. very high viscosity index, which means that won't break down due to a temperature. If you're racing downhill and you've got a lot of action in the fork, you'll build up a higher temperature in the oils. So it's important to have a high VI and these have industry-leading VI levels, depending on the weight. The other thing that's interesting to know about the different weights is they are mixable. Say you're running a 5 weight and you want to go down, but you don't want to go down to a 2 ½. You can mix the 2 1/2 and the 5 evenly to get a 3.75 – did I do that correctly?
