About Ellis Snowboards: Hi, my name is Chris Gates. I work with Ellis Snowboards. I'm the Sales Manager there. We started the name as pretty much Ellis Island. That's how we came up with this name, from people that are coming overseas and they see the Statue Of Liberty. They think of freedom. And so that's how we kind of incorporated the Statue Of Liberty with our logo. We have the freedom to try new things with our boards, with our bindings, with our bags. Just because we are such a smaller company, we don't have these big corporate standards by things that we have to do. So that's how we're kind of going about Ellis Snowboards, is just we have the freedom to try new things. And that's pretty much our overview.

Ellis Snowboards Bindings About: Hi, I'm Chris Gates, Sales Manager from Ellis Snowboards. This is our binding lineup this year. We have the girl's, the Lithium, which is the guy's higher-end bindings, and then the Felix, which is right in the middle. The basic design on them is you could adjust on the fly with the toe ramp. It's a tool-less toe ramp. You just pick up the bottom, slide it out to however far you need. And the highbacks on the back are totally adjustable on the fly, too, just by lifting up a simple lever, and it goes up. You could adjust your forward lean and backward lean. Yea, they're pretty solid design. They're leather. And yea, the Felix, they just have the metal buckles on them. And yea, that's pretty much our binding line.

We have the girl's, we have the guy's, and more guy's, just a different style of bindings. They're all leather. They're pretty much just a hardened plastic, with soft base pads on the bottom. Yea, that's pretty much all of that. We've been doing them for about four years. And yea, just really solid design.
