Eider Gasher Brun Jacket: Hi I am Gene Fredrick I am here to show you one of the most technically advance pieces in our range. This is called the Gasher Brun Jacket and it is named after a mountain peak in the K2 area in Pakistan and Gasher Brun is designed by one of our mountain climbers Lionel Dudey and it is strictly a mountaineering piece but ironically we sell a lot of these to snow sports category as well. It has a very high collar to protect against rock falling on your face, has a metal brim in the hood, has a three point single hand adjustment on each side of the hood and on the back as well. It is a fixed hood. We have a waterproof zippers and zipper posts and that eliminated the placket and the extra weight that might come along with that. We have micro taping which is a process where you are using less tape and works efficiently so again we are reducing the weight which is important in mountaineering. We have a Velcro adjustable cuff in the wrist and a chord adjustment down at the bottom, as well as an off centre ventilation under the arm is set up so it doesn’t get intertwined by back pack. And also on the back, you can’t see it here, but this piece of fabric can go in over the shoulder and around to the back is a stretch material. This is the Gore pro shell so this is the highest quality in the Gore category but the stretch material is really what makes this the award winning piece that it has become and the stretch material stretches across the back so the climbers really appreciate it in the context of the need for them to reach. And one of our most expensive pieces but one of our most important pieces in this category and it’s been evolving and it’s been in the range for about 5 6 years. Thank you.
