Eider Funk Pant

Eider Funk Pant: Hi! My name is Gene Frederick. I’m the manager for Eider in the U. S. A. I’m here to talk to you about the Funk Pant, which goes with the Hydrogen Jacket. What’s special about Eider in its entire range is we only use a membrane instead of a coated material. So in this case, we’re using the Defender membrane, which is Eider’s proprietary membrane. It’s been with the brand for over 15 years. This has a 20,000 water column as well as breathable 20,000. This particular pant is a little wider fit in the leg because the off-pieced skier and free rider likes that feature. We have thigh ventilation on the inside with waterproof zippers. We have zippered pockets on the side. All the Eider pieces have a nice adjustment on the side, which is an elasticated Velcro closure. It has removable suspenders. These are Velcro attached and removable, and it has a high bib, too. So the whole bib structure is a zippered feature, and it comes off. So the suspenders are removable, plus the bib is removable. So you have that option. Down below we have always a cuff system in our pants. We have reinforcement on the inside for skiers and free riders, and we have the zippered opening on the outside for boarders. This is called the Funk Pant, and it’s complimentary to the Hydrogen Jacket.
