Ecco Golf Shoes Ultra Performance: Hi, I’m C.B. Tuite from Ecco, and I want to introduce you to our Ultra Performance. This is a brand-new launch for us. It’s a very exciting product; by far the most technologically-advanced golf shoe out there, utilizing our direct-injection technology. What we have here is where you see the midsole, we direct-inject the polyurethane into the midsole mold, which fuses the upper and outsole all together as one piece. But what we’ve done is created a stability cage or framing system that provides you added stability and added support. So with these lateral support beams, as well as the reinforced heel counter, which encapsulates the foot locking the foot in place to provide added stability and added support during the golf swing. But one of the other important features of the polyurethane is the shock-absorbing qualities that it provides, so you have a very comfortable shoe but a very stable shoe. Some of the other features that are important is our out-of-the-box comfort. There’s no break-in when you have a direct-injected golf shoe. Our outsole is also very unique. It has a triple-density TPU outsole, so you have a soft density in the flex grooves so it flexes with your foot, providing that ultimate walking comfort. We have a firm density where it’s needed in the traction areas, on our traction pods. We also then have a reinforced carbon fiber TPU which provides additional stability. So in a golf shoe, you want the walking comfort, but you want torsion support. So this provides tremendous torsional support during your golf swing. Other features that are important to the shoe are a fully padded tongue, fully padded collar. You have that reinforced heel counter and then an anatomically contoured interior of the shoe to provide that additional comfort and additional support. This is the Ultra Performance from Ecco.
