Butch Harmon and the EEZ-Read: Hi! I’m Butch Harmon, and I want to talk to you about a great new putting aid from Momentus Golf. It’s one of the cleverest things I’ve ever seen. It’s called EEZ-Read. The EEZ-Read bubble level shows you the break of the greens. It’s made with a watchmaker stainless steel base and a precision level. It’s simple to use, and it’s perfect on those putts where it’s tough to read the break. Let’s take a look at this putt and see the break on it. I’m going to take two readings with the EEZ-Read, one of them right here. It shows me that it breaks from left to right, but then it’s a little uphill. Where the EEZ-Read really helps is when I get closer to the hole. It still shows that it’s left to right, but now it’s going downhill. By using the EEZ-Read, what I figured out is I know that it breaks left to right and a little uphill and then downhill. I’ve got the line. If I get the right pace, I get the right putt.

Patrick Robertson on the EEZ-Read: Hi, folks! My name is Patrick Robertson. I’m a golf professional over here in Connecticut. I’m here to talk to you about EEZ-Read. My opinion of it in terms of a teaching point of view, it’s very difficult to try to explain to somebody how to read a green sometimes. So we always want to make sure that when you’re putting, you’re putting correctly outside of mechanics and all that other stuff, that you’re able to follow the line and the speed. Those are the two most important parts in putting outside of mechanics. And what EEZ-Read does, it gives you both. It tells you whether it’s uphill or downhill, whether it’s going to break right or break left, or no break at all. So in that point of view, it’s very important. This is a good, easy, very simplistic way to learn how to read the greens. If you want, I’ll show you here, and we’ll see how we do.
