Dynastar Cross Tie Ski: My name’s Ryan, I’m a product manager for Dynastar Skis. This is the new Contact Cross Tie. We’ve taken all of our heritage and know how from building race skis, high performance all mountain skis, and created the Cross Tie. This is a ski that has a 16 meter turn radius, vertical sidewalls designed to ski groomed runs, a variety of different turn shapes. It really excels in that mid to long radius turn shape. It’s a lot of fun to ski on. Has a wood core, vertical sidewalls, we use two different densities of sidewalls to modify the flex pattern of the ski. Has an integrated system, puts a lot of power into the front portion of the ski, makes it very powerful and predictable as you’re starting to turn.
