Digitech Hardwire Pedals: The hardware TL2 metal distortion features two modes, tight and loose. In the tight mode, your low end is responsive and percussive. When turning to loose mode, it actually targets players that detune their guitars to drop D or maybe C-sharp. In the detune mode, or I should say in the loose mode, the low end is out of control and flubby.
