Digital Foci Pocket Album Deluxe OLED 2.8: Here I'd like to show you the Pocket Album Deluxe OLED 2.8. This is a 2.8-inch size screen that uses an OLED, or organic LED-based screen. Now, the organic LED screen is what's touted as the next generation in display technology. Compared to the screens that we're used to seeing on our TVs, our notebook computers, and standard digital photo frames, this uses an OLED screen, which has three principal benefits. One is that the viewing angle of the OLED screen doesn't disappear, no matter what angle that you view it at. So, as you can see here, when you view it at a very sharp angle, you can still get a nice view of the screen. Two, there's no backlighting on the OLED screen, so that the contrast ratio from darks to light is very significant. So, on this, when you have blacks on the screen, they show up as pure black, instead of a grayish-black that you see on TFT LCD screens. And three, as you can see on this sample product that I have here, the display shows a very bright and vibrant image. The colors come out very strongly, and overall it just shows a very beautiful display. Now, this unit itself is made with anodized aluminum housing. You'll see on the inside here, we have done a very nice diamond-polish bezel that comes up with a very nice silver finish that accents with the chrome plating that we have around the device. They come in three colors. We have our blue, our gray, and red. And, as you can see - between these two units - I have this one displaying full-screen, and over here I have displaying a 2 by 2 view. The Pocket Album Deluxe OLED 2.8 will store up to 4,000 photos. You transfer the photos onto the Pocket Album through your computer with the software that comes with it. It works for both Mac and PC. In addition to showing the photos in a slideshow, you can also view the photos in a thumbnail, so that if there's a specific photo that you want to find, you can find it very quickly, and then have that photo play back.
