Moby Wrap Demonstrations

Moby Wrap Demonstrations: Hi welcome to Moby Wrap, the most comfortable baby carrier on the market. Moby Wrap was started by two parents who were looking for the most comfortable baby carrier. What they designed was a wraparound style carrier that is a hundred percent cotton. I’ll demonstrate how to use it. You’re going to start with the wrap with the tacks marking the center about mid-belly. If you need it tighter go ahead and start your wrap up higher. The looser you need it, you can just lower it to about the point of your navel, so mid-belly. You’re going to take it around your back. Make an “x” on your back. Each wrap comes with full color instructions, step-by-step so you can always refer to your guide and see all the different ways of wearing your baby. I’m going to show you the classic hug hold today. You’re going to make an “x” in the front and just keep in mind where your “x” intersects is where the baby’s bottom is going to sit. If you have a smaller baby you can bring the “x” up higher. If you have a larger baby you can bring that “x” a little lower. Take it around your back and you’re going to tie it in a knot. You’re going to take your baby, keeping him close to your body. Reach through your shoulder strap and bring one leg through. Put your baby to the other side and do the same with the other side. Now this is where you’re going to separate your seams. You’re going to grab your top panel and bring it over the baby’s bottom, keeping one at the hollow of the knee here and one over the baby’s back. And do the same on the other side. This gives the best ergonomic support so now your baby is sitting in the warp instead of dangling in the wrap. They’re sitting. Now I’m going to bring up the seatbelt by just making sure you get your baby’s butt all the way through it, you can grab your tack and bring it all the way up. I call it the seat belt because when you bend over this gives the best support so the baby’s not going to fall forward. If you have a newborn baby with no head control or a sleeping baby you can simply tuck in the back of their heads into the shoulder strap, pull up the front panel, and now you have full support of your baby.
