About Krypton Boot: How you doing today, my name’s Will Lachenauer. I work as a California sales rep for Dalbello Ski Boots and Elan Skis, and I’m actually introducing the new Dalbello Krypton Bling. It’s the Il Moro Series boot, this is the boot that Tanner Hall was wearing at the X Games when he won his gold in superpipe. It’s a super unique boot for a couple reasons. One, it has a very low pivot point, so it actually bends where your ankle bends. It has a dynalink buckle which stays anchored, and back, and down, brings your heel down in the back of the boot. This is a completely new closure, what you can actually do is open the top of the boot so you get more flexibility, more mobility over the top of the boot, but you can still hold your heel down, so different positions, grabs, whatever mobility you do need, and you can actually reach through even your pant leg and ratchet this back down, and it’ll basically ski like any other Krypton Pro or Freeride series boots.

Totally new looking boot, everyone who had seen this when it was launched at the X Games wanted to find out what it was, what it was all about.

Influences of the Krypton boot: This boot originally had some design influences... As you guys know this is the Krypton series boot so Glenn Plaque had a huge part of putting this boot together. That's why you never want to pigeonhole it just as a park boot, it does everything. First day you go ski on it you'll realize this thing'll pretty much push any size ski around. The low pivot point's key, and then also shock absorbing Zeppa in the bottom. Actually the brand new closure, as well, helps dissipate force and spread impact as well.

Krypton boot - ID Liner: The Krypton iL Moro is speced with an ID liner. IDs are true, custom, heat moldable liner. It takes a total imprint of your foot. It's lighter, it's warmer, and after you've skied in one of these for a little bit it's hard to go back to a regular liner.
