Evans Onyx Resonant Bass Drumhead: Hey! This is Mike Robinson, Senior Product Manager for Evans Drumheads here to introduce the Onyx Bass Drum Resonant Head. Using our EQ3 resonant head design, we have an internal overtone control ring to take out the high end and produce more low end notes. Plus we have a 5-inch offset microphone port for internal miking, and we’ve applied our Micro Clear matt finish coating onto this product so it will match the onyx tom and EMAD onyx bass drum heads for a complete look and real dark and edgy sound.
