D'Addario Evans Overview: Hi! I’m Josh, Product Specialist for Percussion for D’Addario and Company. D’Addario and Company has been a wonderful company that’s been making strings for nine generations. We branch out into all sorts of things now in percussion, in reeds, in bowed instrument stringed into straps, cables, all sorts of things for every musician. We’re the go-to company for accessories. Evans has been a company that’s been around as a drumhead maker for the last 50 years. We were the first to make a synthetic drumhead in 1955. Evans has come a long way from 1955 when everything was hand done to a product that is consistent from head to head. We cover all the bases on every type of music with the heads that we make in combinations. We’ve been making drumheads in a special way for the last ten years that’s set them aside from everything else: the consistency, the sound, the value for the dealer.
