It's been a lot of talk lately about multi material technology what does that really mean simple multi material technology refers to incorpoartion of different materials to improve a product's performance or you acn achieve with a single material an iron design is generally used for two main reasons, to improve discussionary weigh in and to enhance the feel.Take for example our all new s9 Iron. It features an extremely light weight, three piece polymer top iron allowing 13 grams of weight chipped in low and heel in toe for lower centre of gravity the most higher launch and more carried distance. The s9 also has a large back cavity plate and urethane sole insert to enhance the heel. The insert allows an additional 10-20 grams of weight to move to the heel and toe again for lower CG and higher MOI incinerating maximum forgiveness. You will notice the s9's wide sole and low profile head which also create an extreme low and back CG for providing forgiveness from a variety of dirt conditions.It's definitely a lot of technology in the s9 Irons when you combine a low centre of gravity, the high moment of inertia it maximizes forgiveness, accuracy, distance and field and it's all done with one purpose to help you build a better game.
