It’s a clear plastic protective cover that sticks onto the painted surface of a golf club with four little pieces of self-adhesive tape. You line it up with the hozzle, line it up with the lead edge, press it down with your fingers, and it’ll stay on until you’re ready to have the club demonstrated either on a driving range or in your practice net. I made it in a right hand and a left hand model. I also make it in a fairway model. They are 95% universal in the industry. They’ll fit the new square headed drivers. They’ll fit a lot of the very large drivers form most of the major manufacturers. Again, the part snaps off, and when you’re in a retail store, your customer can get the club, bring it back to the shelf, put your Club Cap back on, and you’re protected. Thanks for your time. Club Cap - Meet Tim: Hi, my name is Tim Layman. I’ve been in the packaging business for about 30-some years, had about five years in the retail golf industry, and was asked by one of my golf customers to come up with a way to keep the top part, the painted part of all those expensive clubs from getting damaged in a retail store. A lot of people use a tape product. I created what I think is a great item called the Club Cap.
