Clek Oobr's Elemental Safety System: At Clek we know that collisions happen from all angles so we’ve designed our seat with front, rear, and side impact collision in mind. What we’ve developed is our exclusive Elemental Safety System that systematically secures your child in a collision. This is made up of 5 key components. The first is the rigid latch system which is on a track. So now that you’re secure in your vehicle seat, you have that added stability. You need something that you want to contain the child in an accident. This is why we’ve developed a magnesium seat frame. This is all metal. What is does is, whereas plastic is more likely to bend out of the way in a side impact collision, magnesium is 20x stronger than plastic so it gives you the added stability in a collision but you don’t have the weight as you would with steel. The third component is the steel head rest structure which goes all the way through the magnesium frame continuing the rigidity of the seat. Now what this does in conjunction with the deep side wings is that keeps the head contained. So this whole metal protective structure keeps the torso contained and the head contained. On top of that protective layers is an energy absorbing foam pad which goes through the entire mag back frame and through the head rest which one, gives comfort, and two, absorbs energy in a collision. And the last component are our shoulder locators and belt guides. And together, this is called the Elemental Safety System.

And what you can here is Krypton has a moisture proof barrier on the back of their fabric which allows no moisture to get through. You can see if I spill something, everything just pools on top. It’s not allowing bacteria through. It’s not allowing water through and nothing’s getting into your foam. More importantly—stains. I got a blue crayon here. Squirt this on and just with a rub from my finger, pat that off—no stain on the fabric. Nothing made it through to the foam of your seat.
