LINE Chronic

LINE Chronic: The Chronic is just a really good jump and pipe ski. It’s really stable, has a lot of pop and can take anything. It’s stiffer so it will hold out better on the big jumps. It’s the best jumping ski out there for me, no question. If I’m hitting a big jump line it keeps you on your feet. If you land switch, get a little bit forward, you’re not going to wash out forward and just face drag. It’s going to send you right back, standing straight up. Stop it. Do your little ride away whatever you want to do. It’s a good width, 85 underfoot. In the half pipe you really want a skinny ski, a skinny and pretty stiff ski that can hold a good edge. The Chronic is great because it has a nice stiff even flex throughout the ski. It allows you to ride the pipe walls and just mashes with the trannies. You’re not going to get a super washy tail on one end and then a super stiff nose on the other. If you get slightly back seat, it runs over. You’re going to fall. You can’t be getting on your tails and washing out. You need a stiff ski that can handle your weight, handle the power that you drive into the ski when you charge against the wall. It’s got great response and pop on the ski. It’s a really good ski to go carving in and having fun on groomers and stuff because it has good side cut and turn radius and everything. It’s just fun. It’s the kind of ski you can get nasty with.
