Capita Midlife Photo Snowboard: How you doing, Yohanne from Capita Snowboarding I am the sales manager for the brand along with TG Schneider at thesnowbaordrounds.com he is our premiere athlete at the brand talking about his board which is the midlife Photo. It’s a mid-white twin tip park snowboard with a super deep side cut so how TG wanted this board to be built or what the intention was for that park kit it likes to hit everything with a little bigger foot so that means mid wide for someone who has size 9-10 foot but a really deep side cut so it’s for that who that just doesn’t slide around the park he actually likes to go there and turn a snowboard, really pronounced shoulders in it giving it a old school look, centered base as far as construction centre base, super hard, super fast, dual pieces core meaning it has got beach on the side walls and then a select pole core all the way down so there is no finger joints and then little carbon stringers right on the side here. So torsionally the board is you can manhandle this thing around. Built in sizes 151, 155 and a 58 and the artwork was inspired by….. artwork wise I wanted to keep the board really simple I really do a lot of meaning in my boards. This year I just wanted to change the style but still keep it having a real good story. I use photos that I took through the last the last 3 or 4 years this one photo of my grandma’s bedroom when she passed away and kind of had the idea what people believe in, what people rely on to live their lives. Some people really need World peace, some people really need like their family members who have passed are watching over them, some people rely on religion and I just thought that I kind of explore that dynamic like what you rely on and what is out there put it together with some photos I took and some gloss matte which kind of brings you in the graphic a little bit more than just a pretty picture if you think about it a bit just had fun with it, tried to give it an old Capita flare like just the super simple, basic clean minds so keep it nice.
