About Byzance 22in. Club Ride Cymbals: This is part of our Byzance Jazz Series. This is the 22” Club Ride designed in cooperation with one of our German cymbal artists, Wolfgang Hoffner. Wolfgang is an excellent jazz drummer who plays the world over with all sorts of renowned jazz artists and this cymbal fits his needs. It’s a completely flat shape with no bell sizzles that are involved. It also has some pretty intense hammer marks as you can see. This helps with a really strong decay and a very subdued sound.
