The House Burton Fish Board - About: Dave McCall here at the House. We're going to talk about the Burton Fish. Probably one of the most specialized boards we have in the store. Meant only for deep powder conditions. Can be ridden on the grimmers to get to and from. But definitely you're going to see you'll like those days when it's like more than a foot of fresh. You can see it's got a pretty different design. We got a very wide, long nose, and a very, very short, narrow tail. With the swallow tail cutout it's going to help it sink deep in the pile. And the whole purpose of it is to give you less rear leg burn, so you can ride powder with less fatigue, and it really, truly does work. This year's model they put the Channel system in too. Will work with any Burton binding, but rides well with the EST bindings, which are their new baseless ones. From there, we got a side wall construction. Very durable. Holds an edge really good, if you come across ice on it. It also has a 3D camber profile. It's going to kick in the nose, to float a little bit better. Goes into traditional camber, and the tail actually is going to sink down more into the snow. Really gives it good glide and good speed on top of powder. Other than that, it's got the full host of their technologies, really. Stiff fiberglass, really lightweight wood core. Definitely, definitely a really good board. You should check it out.
