Bridge Jr. - About Junior Freeskiing Series: All Volkl’s twin tips feature the multilayer wood core. The multilayer wood core features two different wood core densities. In the middle of the ski you have a hard density of wood. That’s in the center area of the ski. What that part of the core does is give you excellent binding retention because that material is so hard. At the ends of he skis you have a softer wood that’s lighter weight so that you can spin it when you’re doing tricks. And the lighter weight wood core is also softer, so you have skis that are really soft and easy to handle on the ends and very stable through the mid-body of the ski.
