Bolle Modulator Lens Tech

Bolle Modulator Lens Tech: Hi, I'm Bill Urbe, Director of Sales for Bolle, and we're here to show you a unique technology today called Modulator. Modulator is a unique lens. This is a UV light transmitter, and if you look on the lens, you'll see a B in the actual lens. That's UV light, and this shows you how the lens reacts to UV light. Modulator is very unique in its ability, in that it goes from 66 percent, at the high light transmission rate, down to 22 percent. So what that means is if you're skiing or snowboarding, you can wear it in whiteout conditions, you can wear it in very low light conditions, you can wear it night skiing. Or, on a bluebird day, it'll go down to 22 percent. So it's the lightest and darkest goggle lens in the industry, when it needs to be. So if you're looking for something that'll work anywhere you go, in one goggle, no lens changes, Modulator is the future of goggle lens technology. It comes in three sizes. We have a large size, a medium size, and a small size, to fit all faces. And there is no other google in the ski business that works like this goggle works, and I highly recommend it, when you go on your ski trips.

Bolle Polarized Lens Tech

Bolle Polarized Lens Tech: Another goggle that I'd like to introduce, from Bolle--we're a leader in market technology, we've been producing goggles since 1888--is polarized technology in goggles. Polarized has continued to grow in the sunglass business. Now it's becoming very widely used in the ski business. And what we've done at Bolle, is we've come out with a lens, the Aurora lens, which is one of the lightest lenses in the industry, and we've added a polarized film to it. So what it does is it takes away glare, when you're skiing, but still gives you the high optics that you need. We offer it in spherical lenses, which is the best lenses you can wear for optics. And each of these goggles comes with a GORE-TEX equalizer patch. When you buy a Bolle, we try to think of everything from no glare, to goggle fogging. This patch basically wicks moisture up to the patch, and out through the vents. So it's very, very difficult to fog a Bolle goggle. But when you use polarized you want the highest contrast, highest light transmitting lens you can buy. And so Bolle is unique in this category. We offer it in spherical. At the tops we have a large and a small, for men and women. And then we have it also in a double lens technology. As we go through the line, you can buy them at retail from 80 dollars up to 140 dollars. And we have all models, to fit all face sizes, from small to large. And we're the only company that offers this kind of range in polarized. And it definitely is growing in the ski business. So that's another unique feature to Bolle that I thought you might be interested in.
