About Big Bang Distribution Head Drumsticks: Hi, I’m Bob Casher here to talk to you about our head drumsticks. Head drumsticks have been developed since 1992, and the head drumstick was basically designed to enhance the drummer’s stick life, and along with that came a lot of other advantages. The head drumstick is made of aerospace aluminum tubing. It comes with a polyurethane cover with a tip that’s threaded on. The tips can be removed and replaced, and you can choose from a variety of different tips and even mallet heads if you can screw on to the top of the tips. When the cover wears out, you can replace the cover and replace it with a new cover. The sticks usually last as long as about six to ten wood sticks, and then they will fatigue and break, but the covers will last and help enhance the life of the stick as well. Built into every stick handle on the head drumsticks, you’ll find a vibration reduction system. So what happens is you wind up getting half the shock of a regular wood stick. They have 5% better rebound than a regular wood stick, and with the polyurethane cover, you’re not going to transfer any kind of lacquer or any kind of material to your cymbals, thus changing the sound of your cymbals. So the head sticks will not only last longer, but they’ll make your equipment last longer and sound better. They even sound like wood sticks when you hit them together. And it’s the only drumstick on the market that has a 60-day warranty, and it’s one of the only synthetic drumsticks in the life of synthetic drumsticks that has superstar endorsees.

Head Drumsticks Additional Features: A head also has a full range of mallets and brushes. We have the new Bam Stick lights and Bam Stick cavities. These are made of bamboo, and they’re attached to the head handle with a vibration system built into them. We decided to use bamboo because of the longevity of the stick. You’re going to be able to get a lot more life out of that stick than a regular hickory-type stick. You can also get the head stick, and we’ve got it in a swish-stick version where you’ve got a mallet head on the back end. We’ve also got brushes for the unplugged sound, and we’ve also the head stick with a built-in tip on a brush. And what’s nice about this is when you hit your cymbal, you’re going to be able to hear that cymbal, where you won’t with any other brush.
