About Atlas Sprout and Mini: New this year, Atlas adds the Sprout and Mini 17 snowshoes. The Sprout and Mini snowshoes are for boys and girls looking to get out and explore winter’s landscape. The Sprout and Mini use a smaller size version of the grown-up binding, insulated EVA padding and easy strap management for ease of use and comfort playing outside. The Sprout and Mini snowshoes use a molded deck and frame system in the same V-shape as the Atlas adult snowshoes but for kids ages four to eight. For traction the Sprout and Mini use a basic toe crampon for biting the hard snow and the molded snowflake traction for stability without excess metal. The fun little elements of the Sprout and the Mini snowshoes will be the snowflake patterns left in the snow and the reverse Atlas stamps as your kids walk along in the winter.
