Altec Lansing Company Overview: I'm Patrick Beck, part of the marketing team with Altec Lansing. Altec Lansing has been in the audio business for about 70 years. We've put speakers in venues from Woodstock to the city opera house. What makes the Altec Lansing sound so great is our audio alignment technology. This means that we very carefully control the three elements that make up a speaker system, including the speaker drivers, the component that push out the sound. Second the actual enclosure of the speaker, including the shape and the construction. And thirdly the electronics which manages the performance and fine tunes the sound of the system. Altec Lansing has the resources and know how to very carefully control those elements so we get this audio alignment and everything is in perfect harmony and we get that very natural satisfying Altec Lansing sound. Plus most of our engineers are musicians and like our customers they love music. Probably the simplest way to talk about Altec Lansing is that we know sound and we love music just like our customers.
