Giant Alluxx Aluminum Technology: Hi. I’m Andrew Juskyas, Global Product Marketing Manager, here at Giant Bicycle. I’m here today to explain to you a little bit about Alluxx Aluminum Technology. Alluxx is Giant’s proprietary Aluminum Forging Technology. You’ll find Alluxx tubing on many of our road bicycles, many of our mountain bicycles and lifestyle bicycles as well. Essentially, it’s a special Aluminum Alloy that only Giant has. It’s a 60/13 alloy and is drawn and forged in our own factory. What’s interesting about it is that it achieves outstanding weight to strength ratio, meaning you get an extremely lightweight bicycle that’s also extremely strong. Because it’s so strong, we can use less material throughout the frame, creating an overall lighter weight bicycle, whether it’s road, mountain or lifestyle. Again, this aluminum technology is forged entirely in Giant’s own factory, so quality control is second to none in the industry. That’s the story behind Alluxx Aluminum Technology.
