Allen and Heath Xone: 4D Howdy! I’m Tim with Allen and Heath. What we have here is the Xone:4D. It basically is a multi-functional control surface. We’ve got a MIDI section, which gives you a variety of buttons, faders, and knobs, which you can assign to any application and receives delay. The middle part here is an analogue mixer with auxiliary sends. It’s from multiple filters, four input channels. It’s loosely based off of a Xone 92. And it also has a built-in high resolution audio interface, which operates at 24 bits, 96 K, or anything in between that. It’s mostly used like on texted deejaying, using applications like Dr. Pro, Ableton Live, and we’ll give you a quick little swing of some of its features.
