One of the things I am going to show you right now in the recording series of products from Alesis is the iMultimix8 USB. iMultimix8 USB, small little mixer, desktop mixer features four mic or line inputs with gain control on each and you also have two stereo line inputs. Features 3-band EQ and 100 28-bit effects processing all built right in. Another cool part about the iMultimix8 USB is the iPod dock. The iPod dock allows you to not only scroll through and play your iPod through it without actually taking up anymore channels but it also allows you to record direct to your iPod via the voice memo function. Very cool. As long as you got an iPod which has a voice memo feature, simply press the record mode. It will put your iPod into record mode and allow you to record directly to it. As soon as you are done, all you got to do is save it on your iPod and you can play it right from there. It's an ideal situation for anybody who is looking to record or play from your iPod but it is also very important for the one-man band or the keyboard or guitar player who plays some rerecorded tracks.
