About Alesis MasterControl: Hi, welcome back this is Heath, Product Specialist with Alesis. One of the things I am going to show you right now is the Alesis MasterControl. Let's take a look at what the MasterControl is. The MasterControl is an ideal solution for any home studio musician. What you have here is a control surface for your software; it's going to come packaged with Cubase LE4 software as well as Ableton Live Lite. It comes also with these track inlays to control whatever software you'd like to control with it. It's going to come stacked with 12 pre-sets that you can get to simply by hitting pre-set then toggling to your favorite DAW of choice. Another thing you're noticing while I am talking to you is the faders jumping around. This has 100mm touch sensitive motorized Alps faders, very cool. In addition to just being a control surface with a jog wheel and your transport section right here. You also have the ability to do things like zoom in and out of your wav files and shuttle back and forth. Some software's will also allow you to scrub your audio just simply by hitting scrub. Not only that, but it's really a world class audio device as well. The master control has eight analog ins with expansion options of two ADAT Lightpipes plus another S/PDIF giving you 26 tracks total with the ability to record up to 192k. It also has A and B and C monitoring as well as two assignable headphone outs to make customizable mixes and you can send them anywhere you like. This is the Alesis MasterControl.
