What the Jamdock is, is a very simple solution, I have an instrument, I have an iPod, and I want to play them both together. Simply plug in your guitar, your drum machine, your drum set, electronic drum set, whatever you have, your keyboards, plug it into the back. Plug your iPod in the iPod dock, which will also charge your iPod. Then you can adjust your input volume of your instrument and then adjust the volume of your iPod and then your master volume out. Now you can set this into a stereo system, a PA system or even just out to your set of headphones, very simple solution for playing along with your iPod. This is the Alesis Jamdock.
