About Monster: Hey everybody Maurice here, senior international trainer for Monster Cable. I wanted to take a moment to tell you about the history of our company. We started off way, way back in 1978. A gentleman named Noel Lee, who was our head Monster to this day, started the company back with his bare hands by selling speaker wire out of his garage. He was an entrepreneur. He was also a musician way back in those days. As an engineer, as a musician, as an audiophile, he developed a passion for music that led to him creating this company. From speaker wire we’ve evolved from going to speaker wire to audio cables to video cables, to now, of course, we have the world’s best HDMI cables. We started off thirty years ago proving that not all speaker wires are the same. Now here we are thirty years later proving that not all HDMI cables are the same. This is what we’re talking about today and I’m here to take you through that journey.
